Sandbag delivery begins today to Fargo neighborhoods
City Crews will begin delivering sandbags to lower elevation neighborhoods at 9 a.m. today. Sandbag delivery will continue to designated areas 24 hours a day through Wednesday. Delivery convoys will be traveling on 25th Street so drivers are asked to use alternate routes. This will help convoys make deliveries quickly and efficiently.
Cass County begins clay levee construction, sand delivery for rural residents
The county also plans to deliver sand while stockpiling up to 100,000 sandbags. County Engineer Keith Berndt said flood fight plans have been accelerated as clay levees will be built for the Round Hill, Forest River, Chrisan and Stockman’s subdivisions.
